Post-Tour Information

You had a fun, AMAZING tour! Now what…

What you can expect…

After spending two months with about a hundred members going through the same trials and tribulations, you may find you’re relieved to be alone, but you’ll also probably experience some sadness and/or loneliness, and that’s to be expected. Your emotions will probably be all over the map for the first two to four weeks. I recommend you reach out to those you marched with when the mood strikes you. They understand what you’re going through because they’re experiencing the same thing. Sit with those feelings when they come up. Acknowledge how you feel and now that it’s normal and you will get to a place where you will look back on this experience and smile.

Food! You’ve been burning about 6000 calories a day for the past two months and eating just as many. Your body will continue to want those thousands of calories despite not needing them until it adjusts back to your pre-season activity. Continuing to eat like you’re on tour will result in weight gain, so if you don’t want that to happen, you must eat with intention and not according to your hunger. Take some time to think about how much you ate in your “normal” life and eat only that much.

Make it stand out.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
