Medical Eligibility
Click the button below to download the RCR Member Medical Eligibility Form. This is an athletic physical, so it goes into a lot of detail designed to protect you and inform us about physical and mental conditions that could impact you while you’re with us. Typically, the season goes by with nothing more than sore muscles, tired bodies, and lots of good memories. Our Health Team plans for all the “what ifs” that may occur, so we can be prepared to help you and step in if an emergency arises.
Some tips for getting this form completed…
Be completely honest with your provider. There are very few things that will make you ineligible from a medical standpoint, but there are many things that could impact how you are treated during an emergency, especially unknown medical history.
Almost every chronic condition can be worked with in this corps, so let us know about it and we can get to work crafting a plan for you.
List all medications you will be taking on tour including prescriptions, over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, and supplements.
Schedule an appointment with your healthcare provider now to be sure you have this completed well before move-ins.
Take a deep breath and try not to stress about it. This is just one step in the drum corps experience!

Most providers aren’t familiar with drum corps or the rigors involved, so have them read the explanation before completing the exam. You must have this athletic physical on file to participate.
